Our approach to cancellations, refunds and your consumer rights when purchasing career services from 7Skyee.
Last updated: October 2026
This Refund Policy explains when you may cancel a service purchased from 7Skyee Consultancy Pvt Ltd ("7Skyee", "we", "us" or "our") and when a refund may be available.
We aim to provide clear and fair terms for customers purchasing our UK career services.
This policy applies to services purchased through the 7Skyee UK website, including:
Professional CV Writing
Interview Coaching
Career Coaching
Consultations
Other personalised career services offered through the website
This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any statutory consumer rights that apply to you under UK law.
2. Your Statutory Cancellation Rights
When you purchase a service online as a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel the contract within 14 days from the day the contract is entered into, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the service.
If you wish to cancel during this period, you should contact us clearly stating that you wish to cancel your service.
You do not normally need to provide a reason for exercising a statutory cancellation right.
However, different rules can apply where you have expressly asked us to begin providing the service before the end of the 14-day cancellation period. Legislation.gov.uk
3. Requesting the Service to Begin Early
When you purchase a service, you may request that we begin providing the service before the end of the statutory cancellation period.
Where applicable, we may ask you to expressly confirm that you want the service to begin immediately or before the cancellation period has ended.
If you make such a request and subsequently cancel during the cancellation period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the point at which you notify us of your cancellation. Legislation.gov.uk
This may include work already undertaken specifically for you, coaching or consultation time already provided, document preparation or other personalised service work already delivered.
Where a service has been fully performed following your express request for early performance and the required acknowledgement, your statutory right to cancel may no longer apply. Legislation.gov.uk
4. Cancellation Before Personalised Work Begins
If you cancel before we have started providing personalised work or service delivery, you may be entitled to a full refund, subject to applicable law and the terms applicable to your purchase.
For example, this may include cancellation before:
Your CV writing work has commenced
Your personalised CV review or preparation has started
Your coaching session has taken place
Your consultation has been provided
Personalised career assessment or guidance has commenced
Other personalised work included within your purchased service has begun
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we will process the cancellation in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
5. Once Personalised Service Work Has Commenced
Our services may involve professional time and personalised work specifically allocated to you.
If you cancel after personalised work or service delivery has commenced, the amount refundable may depend on:
The work already completed
Sessions already delivered
Documents or materials already prepared
The proportion of the service already supplied
Whether you requested the service to begin during the statutory cancellation period
Any applicable statutory consumer rights
Where the law permits, amounts relating to services already supplied may be retained or deducted from any refund.
Accordingly, once the service has commenced, a full refund will not necessarily be available, subject always to applicable law.
6. CV Writing Services
For CV Writing services, personalised work may include reviewing your existing CV, analysing your career information, preparing content, writing or restructuring your CV, incorporating revisions or preparing the final document.
If you cancel before personalised CV work begins, a refund may be available subject to the applicable cancellation rights.
If personalised CV work has already commenced, any refund will be considered in accordance with the amount of work already supplied and applicable law.
We will not knowingly include false qualifications, employment history, achievements or other misleading information in a CV.
You remain responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us is accurate.
7. Interview Coaching
Interview Coaching involves time reserved specifically for your preparation and may include:
Interview preparation
Question preparation
Answer development
Mock interview practice
Feedback
Personalised interview guidance
If you cancel before the service has commenced, you may be entitled to a refund subject to applicable law.
If a coaching session has already been provided, the amount relating to that session is generally not refundable, subject to any statutory rights that apply.
Where a package contains multiple sessions and only some sessions have been provided, any refund for the remaining portion will be considered based on the services that have not yet been supplied and applicable law.
8. Career Coaching
Career Coaching involves personalised professional support based on your circumstances, experience, goals and career decisions.
This may include:
Career assessment
Career direction
Career change planning
Career progression support
Decision-making support
Career strategy
Personalised action planning
If you cancel before the service has commenced, a refund may be available subject to applicable law.
Once coaching or other personalised service delivery has commenced, any refund will take into account the services already supplied and your statutory rights.
9. Consultations
Where you purchase a consultation separately or as part of a service package, the consultation time is reserved specifically for you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, it will continue to apply subject to the applicable law and whether you have expressly requested that the consultation or service begin during the cancellation period.
A consultation that has already been fully provided is not refundable merely because you later decide not to proceed with another service, subject to applicable statutory rights.
10. Packages and Partially Completed Services
Some 7Skyee services are sold as packages containing multiple sessions or stages.
If you cancel after part of a package has been supplied, the refund position will depend on:
The services already provided
The services remaining to be provided
The package price
Any applicable statutory cancellation rights
Whether service commencement was requested during the cancellation period
Where a refund is legally due for services that have not been supplied, we will refund the appropriate amount.
We will not use this policy to deprive you of any statutory remedy available under UK consumer law.
11. No Refund Based Solely on Employment Outcome
Our career services are designed to improve your professional presentation, interview preparation and career decision-making.
However, we cannot guarantee:
An interview
A job offer
Employment
A particular salary
A promotion
A particular career outcome
A successful career change
A decision by an employer or recruiter is outside our control.
Therefore, a decision by an employer not to shortlist, interview or hire you does not by itself mean that the service provided was defective or that a refund is automatically due.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a service has not been provided in accordance with the law or contract.
12. Service Quality Concerns
If you are dissatisfied with the service you have received, please contact us before requesting a refund where possible.
Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to address the issue through:
Clarification
Correction
Reasonable revisions
Additional guidance
Rescheduling
Repeat performance where appropriate
Under UK consumer law, where a service does not conform to the contract, consumers may have rights including repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction. Legislation.gov.uk
We will consider service-quality concerns fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
13. Client Delays or Failure to Provide Information
Some services require information, documents or responses from you.
If you delay providing information reasonably required to deliver the service, this may affect the timing of the service.
Examples include:
Not providing your current CV
Not providing relevant career information
Not responding to reasonable requests for clarification
Missing scheduled coaching sessions
Failing to provide information required for personalised work
Where delays are caused by you, we may not be responsible for the resulting delay in delivery.
This does not remove any statutory rights you may have.
14. Missed Coaching or Consultation Sessions
If you do not attend a scheduled session without reasonable notice, we may treat that session as used.
However, we will consider reasonable circumstances individually.
If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible.
Where applicable, statutory cancellation rights will continue to apply.
15. Duplicate or Failed Payments
If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same service, please contact us at:
Once we verify the duplicate transaction, the additional payment will normally be refunded to the original payment method.
If a payment fails but an amount has temporarily been deducted or held by your bank or payment provider, the release of that amount may depend on the relevant bank or payment provider.
16. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund, contact us at:
Please provide:
Your full name
Email address used for the purchase
Order or booking reference, if available
Date of purchase
Service purchased
Reason for the request, where relevant
If you are exercising a statutory cancellation right, you should clearly state that you wish to cancel the contract.
You do not need to use specific wording to exercise a statutory cancellation right, provided your communication clearly indicates your decision to cancel.
17. Refund Review Process
When we receive a refund request, we will review:
The date of purchase
The service purchased
Whether a statutory cancellation period applies
Whether you requested the service to begin before the cancellation period ended
Whether personalised work has commenced
The amount of service already supplied
Any relevant booking or payment information
The circumstances of your request
We will then confirm whether a refund is due and, where applicable, the amount to be refunded.
Our assessment will always be subject to applicable consumer law.
18. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, we will normally return the payment using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed or required by the applicable payment system.
Where you exercise a statutory cancellation right and a refund is due, applicable UK law generally requires reimbursement without undue delay and, in relevant circumstances, within 14 days of the required cancellation event. Legislation.gov.uk
The time for the refund to appear in your account may depend on:
Your bank
Card issuer
Payment provider
Payment network
Weekends or public holidays
Financial processing times
We do not normally charge a separate fee for processing a refund that is legally due.
19. Promotional Offers and Discounted Services
Where a service has been purchased using a promotional offer or discount, the refund will be calculated based on the amount actually paid, subject to applicable law.
Promotional terms may contain additional conditions, provided those conditions are fair, transparent and lawful.
We will not use promotional terms to remove statutory consumer rights.
UK consumer contract terms must be fair and transparent, and a business cannot simply rely on an unfair term because it appears in its contract. GOV.UK
20. Transfer of Services
Unless specifically agreed by us, a service purchased by one customer cannot automatically be transferred to another person.
This is particularly relevant to personalised services where the work or coaching is based on the customer's individual circumstances.
Where a transfer is requested, we may consider it on a case-by-case basis.
21. Changes to a Service
If we are unable to provide a purchased service as originally agreed, we will contact you where reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:
An alternative date
An alternative method of delivery
A suitable replacement service
Another appropriate remedy
Where we are unable to provide the service and you are legally entitled to a refund, we will provide the applicable refund.
22. If 7Skyee Cancels a Service
If we need to cancel a service that you have purchased and cannot reasonably provide an alternative that you accept, we will provide any refund required under the applicable contract and consumer law.
We will not retain a payment where applicable law requires it to be returned.
23. Your Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.
In particular, consumers may have rights under applicable UK consumer protection legislation relating to:
Cancellation of distance contracts
Services supplied during a cancellation period
Services being performed with reasonable care and skill
Repeat performance
Price reductions
Refunds
Fair and transparent contractual terms
These rights apply regardless of any wording in this policy that may otherwise suggest a more restrictive refund position. Legislation.gov.uk
If any provision of this Refund Policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, the mandatory consumer right will prevail.
24. Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service or believe that your refund request has not been handled appropriately, please contact us first.
Email: info@7skyee.net
Please provide your name, service details, order or booking reference and a description of your concern.
We will review your complaint fairly and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
25. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect:
Changes to our services
Changes to our business practices
Changes to payment or booking systems
Changes in applicable law or regulation
The latest version will always be published on this page.
The Last updated date at the beginning of the policy will be amended when significant changes are made.
Changes will not normally affect rights that have already arisen before the updated policy takes effect.
26. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is intended to operate in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection law.
Where a governing law provision is required, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the jurisdiction in which you live.
Nothing in this policy prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
