Job Description
Supervise and coordinate all production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
rnImplement and maintain production schedules and ensure production equipment is operating efficiently.
rnTroubleshoot and resolve production-related issues promptly.
rnEnsure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to minimize accidents and incidents.
rnOversee environmental compliance, including waste disposal, emissions control, and pollution prevention.
rnImplement safety and environmental training programs for plant personnel.
rnMonitor and maintain product quality through regular inspections and quality control processes.
rnImplement quality improvement initiatives to enhance product consistency and customer satisfaction.
rnManage the plant's budget, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
rnIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
rnRecruit, train, and manage plant personnel, including operators, technicians, and support staff.
rnFoster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and employee development.
rnConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
rnCoordinate routine maintenance and repair activities for production equipment and infrastructure.
rnEnsure that all equipment is properly maintained to minimize downtime.
rnStay updated on industry regulations and ensure the plant's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
rnInterface with regulatory agencies as necessary
rnIdentify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements and implement the same.
rnPrepare regular reports on production, safety, and environmental performance for senior management.
rnMaintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience within the Lubricants industry or with Chemical exposure.
rnStrong understanding of petrochemical processes, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
rnMinimum 18 to 20years of total work experience, with 10 years in a Factory Manager role( Team Size of 100-250 workers)
rnUnderstanding of mechanical and electrical subsystems would help from a maintenance perspective.
rnExperience in handling the Blue collared workers & Gov’t Department Inspectors is mandatory.
rnShould be fluent in spoken and written English. Additionally, knowledge of Kannada language is preferred.
rnWell versed with Computer skills such as Email, Excel and other online tools are a must.
