We are hiring for a leading company in the handicraft industry, based in Jodhpur, specializing in the design, production, and export of traditional and contemporary handicrafts. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the handicraft industry, possess excellent communication and reporting skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. rn rnKey Responsibilities: rn rnrn· Manage the end-to-end merchandising process, from sourcing and order management to product development and delivery. rn· Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery of handicraft products. rn· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. rn· Work closely with the production team to ensure product quality, design specifications, and delivery timelines are met. rn· Prepare and present reports on production progress, order status, and market trends. rn· Negotiate prices, lead times, and quality expectations with suppliers and manufacturers. rn· Track inventory levels and ensure the availability of raw materials for production. rn· Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to suggest new product lines and improve existing offerings. rn· Assist in the planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings. rn

rnrnRequired Skills and Qualifications:
rnrn· 1-5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the handicraft or textile industry.
rn· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
rn· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
rn· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with ERP software.
rn· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
rn· Knowledge of handicraft products, market trends, and customer preferences is a plus.
rn· Strong reporting and analytical skills.
