Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Project Manager to lead our Solar Ground Mounted Project in Jodhpur. The Project Manager will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of solar power projects through to practical completion. This includes maintaining project timelines, quality, and safety. The Project Manager will be required to demonstrate leadership, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate a variety of stakeholders. The Project Manager will also be required to travel each month for 5-10 days to project locations. Key Responsibilities - Plan, manage, and oversee solar ground-mounted projects from inception to end. - Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to achieve key project milestones. - Have ownership of budgets, timelines, and resources. - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. - Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality. - Liaise with clients, vendors, and government authorities to ensure smooth execution. - Report project progress to Senior Management and any further stakeholders. - Mitigate risks and resolve issues that will affect the delivery of the project. - Ensure commissioning and handover of solar projects are delivered on time.

Requirements

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy or a closely related field. A Master's degree and/or PMP designation is preferred.
Experience: 5 - 8 years of management experience; 3 or more years working with solar, and/or renewable energy projects.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, experience managing ground-mounted solar project implementation, and proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, or Primavera.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership experience, written and verbal communication, and problem solving skill.
Travel: Willingness to travel for project site visits around 5-10 days per month.
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated history of on-time and on-budget solar project delivery.
Familiarity local regulations, guidelines, and permitting processes in Rajasthan.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while under pressure.
Strong negotiating and vendor management skills.
