Sr. Manager Logistics for Jodhpur Rajasthan

Job description:

Manage logistics operations: sea/ land freight.

Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, carriers, ports, airports.

Ensure all export/import documentation is correct (shipping bills, bills of lading, export licences, import licenses, insurance, certificates of origin, etc.).

Monitor shipment schedules, track status, handle delays/disruptions, and optimise lead-times.

Negotiate freight rates, contracts and service agreements with vendors and carriers; monitor vendor performance.

Analyse logistics cost, transit time, carrier performance, and recommend improvements/optimisations.

Manage insurance claims, damage/loss investigations, and resolution processes and develop contingency plans for disruptions
