Job Description

Manage logistics operations: sea/ land freight. Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, carriers, ports, airports. Ensure all export/import documentation is correct (shipping bills, bills of lading, export licences, import licenses, insurance, certificates of origin, etc.). Monitor shipment schedules, track status, handle delays/disruptions, and optimise lead-times. Negotiate freight rates, contracts and service agreements with vendors and carriers; monitor vendor performance. Analyse logistics cost, transit time, carrier performance, and recommend improvements/optimisations. Manage insurance claims, damage/loss investigations, and resolution processes and develop contingency plans for disruptions

Requirements

Hands-on experience with freight forwarding and international logistics.
Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
Solid Excel and documentation skills.
Ability to troubleshoot shipment issues under pressure.
Confident communicator, comfortable with international travel.
