Job description:

Accountable for designing the complete vehicle harness routing, electrical systems like vehicle

charging, electrification, and connections of safety-critical items.

Undertaking both internal and external tests for all mechanical & electrical components.

Producing engineering reports for testing of motors and controllers as per requirements.

Perform end of line product tests and record test results using information management systems.

Promoting right first standards to ensure delivery of quality assembly with a focus on safety.

Liaising with the external supplier to assist with the parts delivery, delivery of tests, including

reporting and maintaining to the agreed schedule.

Supporting the homologation activities to ensure vehicle certification.

 

Skills and Experience Required

 

Must be qualified to Degree level in Automotive, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience working in the automotive industry will be desirable.

Demonstrated track record of engineering ability in an electrical or mechanical discipline

Proven track record of successful project delivery

Good knowledge of vehicle electric motors, systems, battery and wiring.

Good awareness of best practice development processes, requirements, and expectations

Instinctive problem-solving skills coupled with a sound analytical approach

A 'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a small business

environment

Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills practiced in negotiation and presentations

Ability to travel around India (occasionally) and able to move to Jodhpur, Rajasthan full time.
