Job description:
Channel Development:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new channel partners, distributors, and dealers to expand our market reach.
Develop and execute strategies to nurture performance of channel partners.
Sales Strategy:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop channel-specific sales strategies and initiatives.
Set sales targets and KPIs for channel partners and ensure they are met or exceeded.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, acting as the main point of contact.
Provide training, support, and resources to channel partners to enable them to effectively promote and sell our products.
Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
Develop actionable insights to guide product development and marketing efforts.
Reporting and Analytics:
Prepare regular reports and analytics on channel performance, sales forecasts, and market trends.
Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to channel strategies.
Compliance and Contract Management:
Ensure that all channel partners adhere to contractual agreements and compliance standards.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to negotiate and finalize channel agreements.
Budget Management:
Manage and allocate channel-specific budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Channel Manager to join our Industrial Lubricant Business team. The Channel Manager will play a critical role in developing and managing our distribution network, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong relationships with channel partners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial lubricant sales and channel management, as well as a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering
Proven track record of at least 4-6 years in industrial lubricant/cutting tools salesin Account and or channel management.
Strong understanding of the industrial lubricant market and its dynamics.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and objectives.
Experience with CRM and sales analytics tools.
Willingness to travel as needed.
