Job description:
Managing maintenance of float glass manufacturing equipment, and associated utilities necessary for continuous glass production. To carry out improvement activities to enhance productivity and improve product quality.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years experience in relevant industry
- Qualification: B.Tech. - Instrumentation / Electronics & Electrical
- Purpose of Role: Lead maintenance activities related to DCS, PLC, and instrumentation to ensure interrupted production.
• Experience in Troubleshooting of field instrumentation like pressure transmitters/transducers, Flow transmitters/transducers, Temp transmitters/transducers
• Experience in Closed loop control of temperature, various kinds of thermocouples, pressure, and flow
• Experience with instrumentation of furnaces
• Troubleshooting and programming of automatic machines based upon Siemens PLCs, preferably S7
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of DCS PCS7, various kinds of SCADA Systems, drives- Servo, Vector and VFDs
• Should have knowledge of Profibus-based communication protocols and equivalent protocols
• Should have knowledge of sensors for pressure, flow, position etc.
