International Sales Executive – Recycling Plastic


Job description:

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven International Sales Executive with strong experience in exporting Recyclable Scrap, Fibers, Yarns, and Plastic Waste to join our client's growing export team.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage end-to-end international sales and export operations for recyclable/scrap materials (including Fibers, Yarns, Plastics, and related commodities).
  • Identify, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with international buyers and clients in global markets.
  • Prepare competitive export quotations, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, quality control, and finance) to ensure smooth order processing and timely shipments.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while contributing to overall business growth.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide excellent after-sales support.
  • Explore new international markets and develop effective export strategies for Plastic scrap and raw materials.
  • Ensure full compliance with export documentation, LCs, and international trade regulations.

Requirements:

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in international sales/export in the commodities sector, preferably dealing in Plastic raw material trading, Fibers, Yarns, Plastic scrap, or recycling materials.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and international trade practices.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel.
    • Willingness to travel internationally as per business requirements.
    • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory. Knowledge of any additional foreign language will be a strong advantage.

    Preferred Skills

    • Prior experience in Plastic raw material trading, scrap trading, recycling, or waste management industry.
    • Existing network of international buyers in target export markets.
    • Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Understanding of global market trends in plastics, polymers, and recyclable commodities.
