Key Accounts Manager for Lubricants Sales in Karnataka


Job description:

Key Account Manager will have to manage a portfolio of customers and new prospects within a defined sales territory. The role is accountable to deliver Volume and GM andcollection targets as well as identifying and developing new prospect customers. He will carry out sales Directly from the company or through a set of Channel Partners.

 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:


Develop annual budget for each Account and ensure the plans are aligned with the overall business strategy and any agreements with customers.


Develop prospects for the territory, including market mapping, competitor and gain industry knowledge and all stakeholders.

 

Be a Technical consultant to suggest appropriate products after thorough understanding of the applications


Responsible to build customer relationships at appropriate levels on the shop floor and other departments


Document & communicate all the benefits of solutions provided and demonstrate value addition

 

 

Conduct and monitor trials for new applications and upgrade products 

Requirements:

    We are a Lubricant Manufacturing Company serving Multi-National Companies/ OEMs across various industrial segments in India. We are looking for a Technical Support Services Manager with through knowledge of Lubricants Business, its application predominantly in Industrial segments with some automotive experience.

     

    The candidate with experience in lube companies will be preferred
    • BE/B.Tech–Mechanical/ Industrial/ Production Engineering

     


    • Minimum 4-6 years of technical sales and account management within a lubricant /petrochemical industry
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
    • Ability to give directions, both written and verbal
    • Effective presentation and written communication skills
    • Excellent customer service, problem solving and organizational skills
    • Detail oriented and able to multi-task
    • Willingness to travel extensively as required
