Technical Support and Service Manager for lubricant in Bengaluru
Job description:
This position is responsible for the execution of technical support & service requirements of Industrial lubricant Customers and Channel partners.The focus is to ensure effective and customer support and the improvement of customer satisfaction. This position will report directly to the Business Head.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
• The candidate should be well versed with application of Lubes in Industrial and Automotive segments
• The candidate should be able to suggest appropriate products after thorough understanding of the applications
• The candidates should have through knowledge of running field trials and troubleshooting
• Develop support for customers to levels that meet or exceed established service expectation of customers
• Identify, evaluate and propose new customer opportunities
• Ensure all customer needs are communicated to R&D
• Ensure all Channel Partners/ Industrial Customers are updated on all products
• Ensure Channel Partners /Industrial Customers are able to offer adequate product support for new product introductions
• Identify customer service training needs and ensure that they are fully met
• Conduct technical service training courses as required
• Ensure customer queries and complaints are handled promptly and efficiently
• Ensure all field reports are properly and timely completed and shared with the management
Requirements:
We are a Lubricant Manufacturing Company serving Multi-National Companies/ OEMs across various industrial segments in India. We are looking for a Technical Support Services Manager with through knowledge of Lubricants Business, its application predominantly in Industrial segments with some automotive experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
The candidate with experience in lube companies will be preferred
• B.Tech / M.Tech - Petrochemicals, Chemicals,/ MSc in Chemistry
• Minimum 5-8 years of technical service/training experience within a lubricant /petrochemical industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to give directions, both written and verbal
• Effective presentation and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service, problem solving and organizational skills
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Willingness to travel extensively as required
