Procurement and Logistics Coordinator for Jodhpur Rajasthan


Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, goods, and services to support our business operations. You’ll collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and logistics partners to ensure cost-effective, timely, and compliant procurement processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management:

    • Source high-quality materials, goods, and services that meet company specifications.
    • Obtain and compare vendor quotations to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
    • Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
    • Prepare and process accurate purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner.
    • Maintain organized records of vendors, purchases, and procurement documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to clarify material requirements and procurement needs.
    • Address procurement or logistical issues by communicating effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
    • Generate regular reports on purchase orders, vendor performance, and logistics updates.
  • Logistics & Material Coordination:

    • Monitor material shipments and provide timely updates on delivery schedules to internal teams.
    • Coordinate with transport and courier services to ensure efficient and cost-effective deliveries.
    • Track and resolve discrepancies or delays in material shipments.
    • Maintain accurate logistics documentation for all shipments.
  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with vendors to support vendor development.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement and logistics processes.
    • Support the procurement team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with procurement or inventory software is a plus.
  • Sharp attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • 1–2 years of experience in procurement, with exposure to logistics or material tracking preferred.
    • Certification in Supply Chain or Procurement is a plus but not required.
