Job description:

As an Admission Counsellor, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students and their families in guiding them through courses, career opportunities, and the admission procedure. The job is centred on monthly admission targets; creating relationships; and smooth enrolment, or ensuring an enrolment experience. The position demands communication skills and a mindset focused on the needs of students while thriving in a target-oriented environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Student Counselling: Counsel the students and parents on paramedical course offerings, career opportunities, and admission procedures to enable them to make informed decisions.
 
Lead Management: Handle inquiries on the phone, through email, or walk-ins, making sure timely feedback is given to a prospective student in a professional manner. 
 
Follow-Up: Lead follow-up to convert inquiries to enrollments and updating of student database.
 
Admission Drives: Help organize admission drives, seminars, workshops, and campus visits to promote paramedical courses.
 
Enrollment Process: Coordinate a smooth enrollment procedure for students upon admission and documentation.
 
Application Review: Review applications for prospective students, conduct interviews, and deal with discrepancies concerning applicants, or missing information. 
 
Target Achievement: Market admissions to fulfill the monthly enrollment target set by the franchise partner or center head.
 
Stakeholder Engagement-Cultivate and nurture relationships with students, parents, and key stakeholders in support of enrollment goals.
 
Market Awareness-Keeping up with forces in paramedical education and competitors will help them be more effective with counselling.

Requirements:
    Qualifications & Requirements
    Education: A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education, Healthcare, or allied streams).
    Experience: At least 2 years in counselling, marketing, or sales-related areas, preferably in education.
     
    Skills:
    Strong interpersonal & persuasion abilities.
    Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools, or student database, etc.).
    Should work under pressure and meet admission targets every month.
    Basic knowledge of paramedical education would be an added advantage.
     
    Attributes: Empathetic, student-centric, proactive, and goal-oriented with a passion for education.
    Other: Willing to travel locally for admission drives and promotional activities (having a two-wheeler is a plus).
