The Production Manager at a Jodhpur-based Spice Export Company oversees spice processing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and compliance with export standards. Based in Jodhpur, a hub for seed spices like cumin and coriander, this role drives operational excellence and export readiness. Key Responsibilities · Manage spice processing operations, including cleaning, grading, grinding, and packing. · Ensure compliance with food safety, export regulations, and quality standards (e.g., FSSAI, international certifications). · Supervise and train production staff to maintain high productivity and safety. · Monitor equipment maintenance and optimize production processes for efficiency. · Coordinate with procurement and logistics for raw material supply and export schedules. · Maintain inventory and ensure timely delivery of spice products. · Implement cost-saving measures and improve product yields.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in food production, preferably in spices or FMCG.
Knowledge of spice processing equipment (e.g., air classifiers, color sorters, grinders).
Familiarity with export standards and food safety regulations.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
